This is my son, Peyton. I love this little dude so much.
It’s hard to fathom how God could send His only begotten Son to die on a cross (John 3:16). Just thinking about giving my only son up like our Heavenly Father did is really hard and I don’t know if I could. So Father, I pray to be faithful just as Abraham (Genesis 22) was to you.
Also Father, I just pray that You will help me understand the love You have for us. It is so amazing and I stand in awe of You and Your Love. I just want to thank You for giving me this opportunity to be a father. I pray I raise Peyton up in Your Word and teach him how to be a Godly man. A man of Scripture. I pray Father that you will help me to be more of a Godly man myself and to be the man I need to be for my family. More importantly for You. Take me as I am. I need your help and I give it all to you.
